Proposed new Welsh Medium Primary School in Corneli, Bridgend

We are pleased to announce that we will soon be submitting a planning application for a Welsh medium primary school and associated infrastructure on behalf of Bridgend County Borough Council and WEPco. The proposed development will be located on land at the site of the existing Corneli Primary School and Ysgol Y Ferch o’r Sger in Corneli in Bridgend County Borough.

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016 requires draft planning applications to be available for comments for a minimum period of 28 days prior to formal submission to the Council. We are now undertaking this on behalf of the Council.

The usual planning consultation procedures will still be followed by the Planning Authority whilst determining the application.

A public engagement event on the proposed development is to be held on the 26th October between 2:30pm and 6:15pm at the Cornelly Community Centre
