London’s largest Passivhaus standard student development and a key part of Battersea Nine Elms Regeneration Plan
The Challenge
We were appointed at the end of RIBA Stage 3 so the principal challenge was to help the architect and rest of the design team to develop coordinated proposals for the public realm and several roof gardens.
Our Role
The site is a mjor component of the Nine Elms Regeneration Plan for Battersea so we needed to respond to the commercial requirements of the client, the pre-existing design proposals from the architect as well as the future needs of this rapidly changing part of London.
The Outcome
We refined the design into a fully coordinated, deliverable and exciting scheme up to RIBA Stage 4. The development is currently under construction and we are supporting the client and the contractor with the delivery for RIBA 5+.
