Senior Town Planner
The Urbanists Ltd is experiencing significant growth, and we're looking for an Experienced Town Planner with over 4 years of professional experience to bolster our thriving Planning Team. If you're passionate about guiding impactful developments and shaping the built environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Our Planning Team empowers a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients – from education and healthcare providers to major developers and housebuilders – to navigate complex planning processes and secure essential consents. What sets us apart?
We're an integrated placemaking consultancy. This means our planning advice is not just about compliance; it's deeply informed by our expertise in urban design and landscape, ensuring we create places that are truly viable, beautiful, and sustainable.
You'll tackle a diverse and exciting range of projects at every stage of the planning process, spanning residential, health, commercial, education, mixed-use regeneration, energy, and industrial sectors. Our collaborative culture means you'll regularly work alongside our award-winning urban design and landscape teams, bringing a holistic perspective to every challenge.
We're looking for a professional who brings:
- A deep understanding of the UK planning system .
- Qualifications in Town Planning and/ or related subjects
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing planning projects.
- A proactive approach and eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused consultancy environment.
- Membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI), or be well on your way to achieving it.
