Proposed construction of additional learning needs school, residential accommodation, Island Farm, South of Bridgend
Statutory Pre-application Consultation (PAC)
Bridgend County Borough Council and Kier Construction are submitting a full planning application for the construction of an additional learning needs school and associated works including residential accommodation at Land at Island Farm, South of Bridgend. We are now at Statutory Pre-application Consultation (PAC) stage and would like your comments on our draft planning application.
The PAC includes:
- Providing draft planning application documents via this website;
- Notifying immediate landowners and statutory consultees;
- A consultation period of 29 days; and
- Once the consultation period ends, producing a ‘Pre-application Consultation Report’.

The consultation period will run from Thursday the 20th August 2026 to Friday the 18th of September 2026.
