Welcome to The Urbanists

We’re delighted to welcome three new starters to the team as part of our strategic growth plans and provide additional talent and experience. They are Julie Harris, Senior Accounts Manager; Ellen Tullett, Graduate Architect/ Urban Designer; and Sophia Yilmaz, Graduate Planner/ Urban Designer. All are primarily based in our Cardiff studio.

Julie, AAT qualified, brings a wealth of accounting experience from working within Public and Private sectors. Her expertise will ensure our business continues to run smoothly as we grow in scale and ambition across Wales, the South West and beyond.

Ellen is an Architecture graduate from Cardiff University, with previous experience working at The Design Commission for Wales and Allies and Morrison in London.

Sophia is a graduate of UWE’s combined Architecture and Planning degree. Prior to joining us this month, she worked at Wildfox Resorts, a developer focused on creating adventure, leisure and wellbeing resorts.

Our multi-disciplinary way of working will provide them with opportunities to expand and deepen their experience of making great places. As an Employee-Owned company, they immediately become involved in The Urbanists Trust and are given a voice in the company’s future.

We look forward to the new ideas, passion and enthusiasm Julie, Ellen, and Sophia will bring. Welcome to the team!
